Is the Forté BG different from the Forté AP?
Yes – the BG uses steel discs and is optimized for brewed coffee, while the AP with ceramic discs also perfectly covers espresso.
Can I also grind espresso with the Forté BG?
It can grind very finely, but is optimized for brewing methods . For espresso, we recommend the Forté AP.
Does the Forté BG also have a weight function?
No – it grinds based on time or on demand. If you want to grind by weight, the Vario W+ or the Forté AP with scale are better choices.
How big is the dead space?
The Forté BG has a very small dead space , so you get almost exclusively fresh ground coffee – ideal for changing coffee varieties.
